"She bent down, drew a sharp, gleamingdagger from her stocking and leapt at Camila."

Why did War Paint hated Camila so much?

In the past Camila and War Paint were friends. One day, when Camila used to hate Demetrio and she wanted to go home, War Paint tried to help her and came out with a plan. War Paint argued with Demetrio so Camila could go home, but Camila changed her mind. Camia betrayed War Paint and thats why she started hating her.

Underdogs-Mariano Azuela

The book is about a rebel named Demetrio Macias. He and all the people that have been oppressed by the government begin to revolt. Demetrio starts gathering many friends and people that are against the government to make an army to fight with the federals.

The Mexican revolution began because of a dictatorship. Porfirio Diaz had more than 30 years in the power. Francisco Villa one of the most important revolutionist began fighting against him and the government and the revolution began. The rebels won and Huerta was put on power where he settled a law "sufragio electivo no reelecion" that means that no president can be reelected.

What did Porfirio Diaz do, that the poeople wanted to revolt against him?
